Gameplay
The player has to jump from one shape to another, avoiding obstacles and spikes, and collecting stars. The shapes are different, with the player only being able to jump on the shapes with the same color. There are five levels, each one harder than the former. The first level is a single shape, the second level is several shapes, the third level is a square, the fourth level is a diamond, and the fifth level is a cube. There are also different areas, each one harder than the last. The player has to collect the diamonds and get through the level. The player can tap on the screen to jump up and double jump to go higher. They also have the option of tapping and sliding to do a flip. The player has to be careful not to die if they touch an obstacle, as they will not only lose a life but also a life point. There are three levels in each world, with the third level being a boss level.
Graphics
The game has three types of graphics: cube mode, which is the main mode, has many neon-like effects and bright colors; demon mode, which is the only mode with a black background, has many darker tones and a lot of red; and blackout mode, which is the mode with the darkest of colors and the fewest neon-like effects. The graphics are fairly standard. For the most part, the background is black with a few colors mixed in to keep it interesting.
Information about replayability
It is not possible to go back to previous levels and try to improve the score. Geometry Dash is not very addictive and the replayability is not very high. Geometry Dash offers a lot of replayability, with the game getting progressively more difficult. There are also other modes, such as the Dark World, where the player has to face the challenges of the original Geometry Dash levels with the addition of new enemies.
Conclusion
It is a game about jumping from one shape to another, avoiding obstacles and spikes, and collecting stars. It is very challenging and addicting.
