This is huge news for every content creator on YouTube who felt bad about the lack of ability to repeat the albums while casting. Now, YouTube brings this feature back. If you are thinking of playing something non-stop for your audience, now is the right time. Just make sure users will not run away after the third repeat of Weird Al.
The first time YouTube Music introduced the ability to repeat and shuffle music during the casting was in February 2020. Users did not even have a chance to enjoy it when the company removed this ability. Sometime later, YouTube brought back the shuffle, but not repeat. Now the feature is back.
It happened right after users started to complain about the inability to cast on Google TV, Android TV, and Chromecast. YouTube Music received hundreds and thousands of complaints from customers around the world. The company did its best to fix everything. By Friday the problem was removed. While removing the problem, YouTube Music developers apparently brought back different tools, including repeats. The company did not comment on the situation, but we suspect it happened at the same time.
Now, when you want to cast, all you need to do is to wait till the feature appears. At first, it was unusable. Yet, after some time it turns on and you can use the service again, playing your favorite songs on repeat. The feature works well on both iOS and Android. However, it looks unavailable on iPad. Users hope that YouTube officials will not remove it again. Some users have already begun to say that this was a gift from YouTube as a way to say sorry for the outage that happened earlier.
Do you believe that YouTube officials brought back repeating options on purpose? What do you think about this feature? Express your thoughts in the comments below.
