Epic Games announced their collaboration with the famous band Radiohead. The band became part of a virtual project called 'The Kid A Mnesia Exhibition,' a progressive and unusual act for the world of rock music. This virtual event is aimed at entertaining fans and celebrating Kid A and Amnesiac albums.
New Radiohead Themed Items
The Kid A Mnesia Exhibition is a virtual art museum dedicated to the art and music of the band's two iconic albums. But Epic's have decided to go further and added band-related stuff to several popular games. In games such as Fortnite, Rocket League, and Fall Guys, Epic developers added various items and cosmetics associated with the band to celebrate this occasion. This could mean that Radiohead will become another brand of the epic metaverse.
Updates for the games are simple enough to be no more than just a passing trend. Fortnite now has a Radiohead tune for the lobby screen, which you can customize with a band picture. Rocket League received a ticket and song that you can select for the in-game lobby. Fall Guys are most fortunate because you can choose the costume of the crying minotaur from the cover of Amnesiac.
Radiohead in Fall Guys
Both top and bottom of the outfit pieces will cost players five crowns each. This way you can piece together a full costume of Crying Minotaur. Illustrator Stanley Donwood, in collaboration with Radiohead vocalist Thom Yorke, had designed and developed the original minotaur picture. The illustrator put a Greek myth into this character, giving him a unique meaning.
Some influencers think that when marketing a piece of art in this way, something truly meaningful can lose its context and face, dissolving into a world of infinitely changing trends.
