Meet and Greet: Netflix Gaming on iPad and iPhone

After just a week of making its games available to Android users, Netflix is already doing the same for users of iPads and iPhones. All the games can now be downloaded from the App Store and launched either through the Netflix app itself or directly on your mobile device. No matter how you open the games, you’ll have to log into your Netflix account in order to play them.

It’ll be possible to use a single account while playing on other devices. What is notable is that some games are available while being offline. This ensures that gamers can enjoy their favorite games even without having proper access to a Wi-Fi connection.

The first batch of five games that is available to iOS users is identical to the games released on Android. It includes Stranger Things 1984 and Stranger Things 3, which were first tested in August as a part of the Polish subscription. The other three games are Card Blast, Teeter Up, and Shooting Hoops. These games are likely to be enjoyed by casual gamers that are not looking for anything too complicated.

Shooting Hoops deserves an honorable mention. Despite being simple, its gameplay is incredibly addicting as you try to get the ball through the hoop using a limited number of taps.

Recently, we got an update about the upcoming release, which is likely to be soon added to the library.  The game is called Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story, and we expect it to become available on PC and Nintendo Switch in about a month. It will be the first major release since the last bunch of games became available for Android users.
