Final Showdowns: Parisian Major IV Sets the Stage for the 2026 CDL Championship Weekend

The current season of the 2026 Call of Duty League is drawing to a close, and the final events have now been outlined. With the end of regular play, there are no more qualifiers or weekend fixtures, leaving only two major competitions: the Parisian Major IV and the Championship Weekend scheduled for mid-July.

The upcoming Parisian Major IV is set to Start on June 26 and wrap up later in the month 28, utilizing a double-elimination format. In this system, teams starting in the upper bracket are allowed one loss before facing elimination, while those in the lower bracket must maintain a flawless record to stay in contention.

The opening rounds of Major IV have been arranged, with certain teams waiting to face their opponents in the lower bracket. The teams awaiting matchups include:

  • Toronto KOI
  • Vancouver Surge
  • Miami Heretics
  • Cloud9 New York

Attention is particularly drawn to one team that urgently needs points to qualify, as Major IV provides a boost of 100 total points to the winner. Currently, the Royal Ravens trail by 70 points, making their situation especially precarious. Similarly, the Falcons, Heretics, and G2 have not yet secured their postseason placements. At the summit of the standings, OpTic appears well-positioned to finish the season ahead, although both the Thieves and FaZe still have a mathematical chance to alter the outcome.
