Call of Duty Zombies has appeared in several games and had only two noticeable leveling systems: the first one from CoD: Black Ops 2, and then CoD: Black Ops 3 that stayed to the newest releases. Most of the fans are familiar with the modern version of the game, but there are some things about the old one that could make the appearance of the CoD Zombies more exciting.
According to some rumors, Call of Duty Zombies could get a full game in the following year, which means the developers have a chance to bring the old leveling system that was more engaging to the player. The game in question probably would not be tied to the multiplayer mode of CoD: Warzone, so it could build its base outside the popular franchise.
During the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, fans have seen one of the best and worst performances of the CoD Zombies with multiple maps and an incredible system that many still remember. The game had a fresh understanding of levels and ranks, which were based on the actions of the player, so your mistakes could make you go down in the list. Nevertheless, the system was poorly explained both in-game and by the developers, so for a long time, players didn’t know how to properly gain experience.
In Black Ops 2, the players have already known who they are playing with, judging by the knife and shotgun rates, which is very useful while you build the team. However, in Call of Duty: Warzone, you will have no idea whether your teammate knows anything about the new mode.
Moreover, Call of Duty Zombies was criticized for the lack of imagination and new events that could make the game better. Bringing back the old leveling system could mean improvements and changes, so the game gains more following and popularity.
Would you like to see CoD Zombies as a single game? What should Treyarch add to make CoD Zombies more exciting? Please, share your ideas in the comments below.
