Over 2.6 billion Chrome users received the update on security from Google as the new attacks are expected. The company is trying to improve users’ security levels in order to survive hackers. This time they have to hurry up since attacks are already happening.

The 96.0.4664.110 version of Chrome is made to fix numerous security gaps. For starters, there are 4 high-rated vulnerabilities that it covers. Apart from that, there is a critical problem that is being fixed finally.

The gap in the JavaScript engine security is among those that are highly rated. Experienced hackers can execute codes on the computers that are attacked. Now Google has fixed the problem that had been previously revealed. The problem has news status “reserved” and Google can finally take a deep breath.

For now, you need to go to the Help/About features on your Chrome’s menu. If you see that the new update is finally there, the process of downloading begins automatically. All you need to do is to wait for a few seconds. While the fixes are already there, not every user can download them at the same time. Some of us receive updates later than others. Don’t get frustrated about that, since in a couple of days the new update will be available everywhere in the world. The company fixed:

  • Mojo’s data validation is low security;
  • Swiftshader vulnerability;
  • ANGLE object lifecycle problem;
  • Swiftshader heap buffer problem;
  • V8 engine vulnerability.

Once you download updates don’t forget to restart the browser. You have to activate the fixes that Google made to secure you. If you don’t want to become vulnerable to hackers’ attacks, check out for the new update.

If you have already downloaded it, share your opinion about the new version in the comments below. Are there visible improvements? Has your account ever been attacked?
