YouTube Kids is a full-scale interactive application for children from YouTube. The App addresses the issue of early childhood development in a playful way under parental control. 

Interface

The YouTube Kids interface is adapted to children's perception through cartoon icons, colorful pictures, and large print shops. For easy navigation, they use simple icons that take the form of smiling characters. The design consists of a white background and unobtrusive color drawings around the perimeter of the entire screen. In the right corner, there is an icon - "Parental Control". The main part of the main page is occupied by interactive tiles with cartoons.

The age range consists of 3 blocks: up to 4 years, 5-7 and 8-12 years. The four main icons "Show", "Training", "Review", and "Recommendations" help to master the program at an intuitive level. From time to time, thematic categories such as Reading appear. Parents can easily control their time spent on YouTube Kids with a built-in timer. The app informs the child when the session is over while they are browsing. Functions for commenting and uploading their own videos are closed. Restricted Access by Third Parties 

The application uses personal data for business purposes: a selection of recommendations, contextual advertising, and performance improvement. YouTube Kids distributes personal information subject to the user's consent, legal violations, and trustees. Authorized users are guided by a note in their Google accounts, and unauthorized users are guided by a note in the YouTube Kids app.

The app received a 4.3 rating from users in the Google Play Market and deserves attention. With free access, anyone can test a learning platform for children. YouTube Kids is supported on iOS 7, Android 4.1, and higher phones and tablets, also Smart TV, Chromecast, game consoles, etc. More than 1,000,000 users from around the world have downloaded the application to Google Play and Apple Store. YouTube Kids supports various languages: Arabic, English, Ukrainian, etc.
